Seminar for “Scientific Research orientation and study Master of MIS/E-commerce”

To all students of Management Information Systems,

In order to help students of MIS/E-commerce have scientific research orientation and a plan for studying Master in future. Faculty of Information Systems invited professor Tuan Q. Phan to hold the seminar to share about research orientation for all students.

Professor Tuan graduated bachelor and master at MIT, PhD at Harvard university and now working at National University Singapore in Professor position. Professor Tuan will share all scientific research orientation, studying Master orientation for MIS/E-commerce students and opportunities to study Master at National University Singapore.

Time: 8:30AM-10:00AM, March 1st,2019

Some information about the Professor:

"Dr. Tuan Q. Phan is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the National University of Singapore in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics (School of Computing), and the Department of Analytics and Operations (Business School), a Research Team Lead at the Institute of Application of Learning Science and Educational Technology, and affiliated with the Business Analytics Centre. His research spans multiple disciplines including economics, marketing, consumer behavior, computer science, and statistics. His expertise covers various industries including retail and e-commerce, logistics and transportation, social media, news and video media, technology and consumer products, education, and FinTech. He received his doctorate from Harvard Business School, and an undergraduate from MIT. He is also an entrepreneur, and frequently consults industry leaders."
