On December 5^th, 2015, University of Economics and Law (UEL), National University HCMC, held the Inauguration ceremony of Business Intelligence Research Lab & classroom followed CDIO (CDIO classroom). In this event, UEL kindly welcome all representatives from 19 organizations, includes: Global CyberSoft, SAP LAB VN, BOSCH Vietnam, Ernst & Young, PwC, FPT IS, KMS Technology, Thế Giới Di Động, VNG, Long Thành Golf, Hoasen Group, Dầu ăn Cái Lân, VTC Intecom, Global Enterprise Solution (GESO), Gia Minh Consulting (GMC), NIT Software, Inosight, Vietnam Hitek, Công ty CP Truyền thông Số 1. Besides that, the presence of Associate Professor. PhD Nguyen Tien Dung, president of university, representative of all Faculties, departments and lecturers, students of Management Information System.

BI lab is the first laboratory in Vietnam that supports all research about Business Intelligence Solutions in Management Information System and E-commerce

Master Nguyen Duy Nhat was presenting about all equipments and processing performance at BI Lab for future projects. With 51 high config ed computer, Core i7 6th Generation, RAM 24Gb and 10 computers for Parallel computing GTX 980, with many other modern facilities, SAP Business One, add-on function of SAP R/3, ... BI Lab would support for all various high computing processing in network computing và heterogeneous network computing, allow to simulate all big organization management system, complicated calculation in large data.

The talk show “Creating the interactive learning environment followed CDIO” was held after the ceremony attracted the interest and discussions from all organization representatives. Mr Ho Vu Quoc Vuong, president of Gia Minh Consulting, Mr Le Xuan Anh, president of NIT Software, Mr Hoang Dai Hien Chuong, President for BI solutions at Global CyberSoft, and more organizations showed their interest and support to the plan of deploying BI Lab and CDIO classroom, in order to create positive learning environment, and enhance the education quality at University of Economics and Law.

Before ending the talk show, all organization representative continued to join The premiere of Humanity Foundation, created by many companies to support students of Management Information System and E-commerce and the conference “Career orientation and connection to organizations in MIS and e-commerce”. The conference includes all presentations from FPT Information Systems, KMS Technology, PwC, Ernst & Young and received lots of discussions and share from other 14 organizations.
